Home now from our long trip to West Virginia. Stopped on the way up in North Carolina and visited Adam and Brigette and beautiful Ariana Haley in North Carolina! What a good baby! :finn:  She is adorable and has gained about 3 1/2 lbs. since being born on 7/10/10. I massaged her little legs as she kicked them as if she were in the Tour de France! LOL She soon relaxed as if in a trance and started to fall asleep…and, I got to change a poopy diaper that can only be described as pea soup! :shocked2:

Then, onward to beautiful Charleston, West Virginia, we rode, early Saturday morning. The college is nestled in between the mountains and the Kanawha River. Her coach, assistant coach, and other girls helped us move Shannon into her dorm room! We met her roommate who is very nice and they seem to be getting along great which is fantastic! Parent Orientation was phenomenal! Lots of great information and we got to ask loads of questions while the students went off to their respective groups for introductory classes and projects…

Shannon Zasloff becomes a Golden Eagle!!

Shannon Zasloff signs her letter of intent to attend the University of Charleston to play Basketball and will be in the NCAA Division II.  Shannon has excelled in a variety of athletics from volleyball, basketball, and tennis; but she decides to attend the University of Charleston on a Basketball Scholarship.  Below is a picture of Shannon with her parents and coaches.  Congratulations Shannon!! :zappel  «Read more…»

ATTENTION ALL COLLEGE BASKETBALL COACHES!!

Shannon Zasloff has been a varsity starter all throughout her high school career, in basketball as well as volleyball. She is an excellent three-point shooter and brings a lot to the table.  She can play forward and guard.  She is a combo player and can score. She plays mainly guard, but she can post up and score as well. She recently scored 30 points in a game and 21 of those were from behind the arc. And, scored another 21 points this past Tuesday!

She can shoot, is powerful, strong, mature, and has great control of her body and hand/eye coordination.
