We laughed, ate, partied, and danced our asses off – it was fantastic!! The last time my husband went to one of their reunions was in 1982!! So, you could imagine how thrilled he was to see everyone again! I’m so glad we were able to go and hope to stay in touch with them! AND, we got to see Aunt Marilyn too as she was their drama/music teacher!

Training is going really well! Today, I finished my Day 2 Cert class and it went great! We had to practice taking training calls wherein we each took calls from one another – one of us played the role of the agent and one of us played the role of the caller. It was a little nerve-wracking at first but I think it went very well!
THEN, we each had to take a call from the instructor! She called us on our home phone lines – the one we will be using for work to take donation and pledge calls…I was SOOO nervous at first but I think I did well and she said I did so that’s good enough for me!
Onward and upward to Day 3 Cert training class…awaiting the email so I can sign up and get more points! The more points you accumulate, the higher the pay scale – YAY!!

Have been feeling like shit the last couple of weeks…of course, due to the damn CFS, what else is new…no energy, can’t think straight for shit, can’t remember shit…well, you get the picture.
BUT, decided to forge ahead and apply with a different company but still working as a customer service agent from home. This company has the potential to pay alot more although you only get paid for the actual amount of time that is spent talking to customers. Finished Day 1 Certification class today and it was AWESOME!! Met alot of nice people who were also learning, asking questions, trying to absorb everything in the 3 hour class – which turned into 4 hours actually since we all had questions but the teacher, or presenter as they are known by, was terrific! Great sense of humor, very knowledgeable, and great to work with!
So, I take the New Agent Exam and get an 87…which is great any other time but passing is 90…so, of course, I have to take it again. Good thing they emailed me with the results as well as the answers – HELL YEAH!!!
Well, off to bed, to hopefully get some rest so that I can trudge out in the rain tomorrow to take my Dad for his blood test . And, I will also be having a glorious lunch with my bestest friend, Lori!! Nite Nite!

Fibromyalgia is a serious neurological condition that causes pain in the musculoskeletal system. People who suffer from fibromyalgia also feel pain in the tendons, ligaments and the areas of the joints. Another characteristic of fibromyalgia is a pronounced state of fatigue that takes over the entire body. The symptoms of fibromyalgia resemble those of rheumatoid arthritis and due to this fact, fibromyalgia may be misdiagnosed. However, unlike people with physical illnesses, the people with fibromyalgia seem to be in perfect health. Although the pain reported by people with fibromyalgia is present, it occurs on the premises of abnormal brain activity. People who suffer from fibromyalgia have a very sensitive nervous system and a low tolerance to external stimuli. Increased nervous excitability is considered to be the cause of the intense, recidivating pain experienced by people with fibromyalgia. «Read more…»
